Went to Hallavaara landfill at Köyliö, SW Finland with Jaakko Esama yesterday. Some 600 large gull were present (quite a low number) and this pale LBBG was the most interesting among them. It's 3cy and probably of western origin due to late moult and bill and head structure.
Only two adultish Baltic Gulls were around. This one is probably 4cy or 5cy because there's no mirror in P10.
Somehow curious looking 3cy Herring Gull with a small mirror in P10 and interesting dark grey color on renewed upper wing coverts. The bill is also quite a delicate one.
